Our Weatherproof Repeater Housing is designed for users wanting to install a repeater in the elements or an unairconditioned space.  This weatherproof housing is IP65 Rated to protect from dust and water and features a cooling fan to protect from high temperatures.  Our Weatherproof Repeater Box is protected by a 24 month warranty for the cooling fan and 5 years for the box itself.

Will this housing hold a Motorola SL5700 Repeater & Duplexer?  Yes.  

Is it necessary to connect the cooling fan?  No, but we do recommend it.  Repeaters run at a high temperature and are designed to power off if they get too hot.  The integrated cooling fan offers additional cooling.
